11th November, 2025 : Gender Sesitisation Session for graduate students of KLE College, Bangalore

A Gender Sensitisation Session for graduate students of KLE College, Bangalore was organised in collaboration with Dhwani Legal Trust on the 11th of November 2025.

Around 100 students were present and had a meaningful learning session. The session was facilitated by Adv Ashwini Obulesh, Executive Director of Dhwani Legal Trust. She started the session with the Power or Privilege Game wherein the students were able to understand the practicalities of the society we all live in. They could analyse and understand the disparities between men and women in today's modern world. This session helped them burst certain myths like 'All are equal', 'women are more advantageous', 'women have freedom' etc,.

The session also helped them imbibe certain values of being sensitive towards the marginalised sections and inculcate the habit of breaking stereotypes which are attributed to these sections of the society.

The day ended with a ray of hope among the youngsters for building a more sensitised, value based society for all to live a dignified life.
