ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗವು ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಧ್ವನಿ ಲೀಗಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜನರೋಗ ಚಲುವಾಲಿ (KJC) ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ತಂಡ (KCVT) ಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೋವಿಡ್-ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಕಾನೂನು ನೆರವು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಲವಾರು ರೀತಿಯ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ, ನಿಂದನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರವು ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ, ಕರ್ಫ್ಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಲಾಕ್‌ಡೌನ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಬಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಕೌಟುಂಬಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ, ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಿರಾಕರಣೆ, ಶವಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು ತೊಡಕುಗಳು ಮುಂತಾದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ವಿಷಯಗಳು (ಅಮಾನತು, ಅಕ್ರಮ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ, ಸಂಬಳ ಪಾವತಿ ನಿರಾಕರಣೆ , ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ), ಮನೆ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು (ಮನೆ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಂದ ಕಿರುಕುಳ, ಹೊರಹಾಕುವಿಕೆ, ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ), ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ವಿವಾದಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿವೆ.

With the Covid-19 pandemic rampaging through the country, ravaging the economy and the daily lives of all of us, Dhwani Legal Trust is collaborating with Karnataka Janaarogya Chaluvali (KJC) and the Karnataka Covid Volunteers Team (KCVT) to provide Covid-specific legal assistance in the state of Karnataka remotely, viz. via a helpline.

Several forms of discrimination, abuse and violence have been aggravated by the pandemic, and the consequent curfews and lockdowns. Cases of domestic violence, sexual harassment, molestation, child abuse, medico-legal issues (such as medical negligence, refusal of treatment, legal complications during cremation, etc.), employment-related issues (such as illegal termination, transfer, refusal of salary payment, etc.), tenancy issues (such as harassment, eviction by house owners, etc.), schools demanding excess fees, and business disputes, are on the rise.

Legal Trust has formed a team of 35 expert lawyers and is providing pro-bono legal assistance to alleviate these problems.
